Emma
JACQUES

Emma Jacques is a French right back who came up through the youth ranks at Metz Handball, one of Europe's top clubs. Following this rigorous training, she naturally stepped up to the Metz professional squad, confirming the immense potential she had shown from a young age. Her impressive height (1.90m) allows her to unleash long-range shots that are difficult for opposing defenses to block. She is also capable of exploiting gaps on the outside, adding variety to her attacking game. Defensively, she is solid in the number 2 and 3 positions, where her reach is a genuine asset. Her experience abroad—notably in Hungary with Esztergom Handball—has helped her gain significant maturity and confidence in her play. This move to a new league provided her with substantial playing time and greater exposure on the European stage. She is an international right back who combines size, shooting power, and defensive solidity at a high level.
